I am Alexander Michels and have worked with Flutter since the framework’s early years. My experience spans smart home, digital health, HR software and startups.

What is Flutter and when is it a good fit?
Flutter creates apps for iOS, Android, web and desktop from one shared codebase. It is particularly useful when several platforms need the same functionality and a consistent interface. Development and maintenance stay manageable.
Is Flutter the right choice for my project?
Flutter is a strong fit for business apps, customer portals and products with a custom interface. Native development can be more appropriate for highly platform-specific applications. We clarify this before the project starts.
How long does an app project take?
A focused MVP usually takes six to twelve weeks. Three to six months is often realistic for a complete product. After discovery, you receive a plan covering scope, milestones and timing.
Does Flutter really work for web and desktop too?
Yes. Flutter supports iOS, Android, web, Windows, macOS and Linux. I have delivered products for all of these platforms, including custom hardware and Linux-based devices.
How do we work together and what does it cost?
Depending on the project, I work to an agreed scope or on a day rate. After a free introductory call, you receive a clear assessment and written proposal. We can work remotely or on site by arrangement.
What does a fractional CTO actually do?
As a fractional CTO, I provide technical leadership for a few days each month. This includes architecture, technology strategy, recruiting, reviews and managing external suppliers. It suits companies that need CTO-level experience without filling a full-time role.
How do you use AI tools?
I use modern tools to speed up research, implementation and testing. Architecture and code quality remain my responsibility. Your data is treated confidentially and you own the rights to the result.
What happens after launch?
You can continue working with me or hand the product over to your team. In both cases, you receive tested, documented code and a working CI/CD pipeline. Your team can continue without depending on me.
